The journey began in 2018, when Venkatesan Srinivasan started VS Strategic Business Consultant as a freelance HR advisor, driven by a conviction that great HR should be accessible to every organisation regardless of size or stage.
Over the following years, Venkat collaborated with 10+ SMEs and 5+ startups across India, helping them build HR foundations, design compliance frameworks, develop leadership capabilities, and establish talent management strategies. His expertise extended to headhunting CXO-level roles across Aerospace, IT, GCC and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) industries.
Recognising the transformative potential of Digital HR and AI-driven HR automation, Venkat integrated HR technology into his consulting practice , enabling businesses to streamline operations and sharpen workforce decisions through data and intelligent workflows.
In 2018, he paused consulting to take on a full-time role as Global Head of HR at KNOT Solutions. This chapter refined his ability to lead enterprise-wide HR transformation at scale. But his deeper purpose , to create pathways for talented individuals from underprivileged communities , never left him. Realising it was now or never, he returned to his mission full-time, and VS GenX Solutions was born.
